Nils Petter Löfstedt: The Pier

25.01.2014 - 02.03.2014

The Pier is a film by Nils-Petter Löfstedt and Erik Westman. It tells a story about how everything can be changed and how everything can become poetry.

The film is a documentation about a street art project, in which a living room with white walls and a parquet floor was created into a cleft found in a pier. The makeover was done mainly during the night time and it took six months to build the living room. The film follows Erik Vestman having his ups and downs while constructing the living room.

The Pier is a story about everything being possible and about how the ugliest and the most repulsive can be turned into the contrary.

As the other executor of the project Nils Petter Löfstedt has documented the process.
