Northern Encounters

As The Northern Photographic Centre celebrates its 30th anniversary it brings back the regional photographic art exhibition of Northern Finland after a twenty-year pause.
The regional exhibition is called Northern Encounters and it is shown in the galleries of Cultural Centre Valve during 23.9.-12.11.2017.
The opening ceremonies are held on Friday 22.9. at 5pm. The opening is free and open for anyone to attend.
The exhibition is curated by Gunilla Muhr (Konstfack Stockholm), Alla Räisänen (The Northern Photographic Centre) and Julia Heikkinen (The Northern Photographic Centre). There are works from the following artists and series of works:
