Photo North – Northern Photographic Centre is organizing a series of online portfolio reviews for photographers and artists working with photography in the spring of 2025. The online reviews are for members of Photo North and joint members of other photographic centres.
Each portfolio review will be for four artists. A single meeting lasts for 30 minutes from which 15 minutes is for the presentation of your artistic work. If you don’t have a chosen work or project to present, you should have a question or a presentation you’d like to be commented on. Participation fee for the chosen artists is 5 euros.

In addition with the reviewer Darja Zaitsev, director and curator of Photo North, is present at the meetings. Registration ends on 31th of March 2025.
The reviews are not for seeking out new exhibitions to Photo North or the collaborators galleries, but to add more collaboration between artists and the different instances in the Finnish field of photographic art. Reviews will be held via Zoom in English and in Finnish. The link for the meeting will be sent to chosen artists before the set time.
You can apply for the reviews via Google Forms: https://forms.gle/KWSpq8wzxZoLmasz8 (link opens in a new tab)
Leave your name, email address, work via link to portfolio or a pdf-file and select which reviewer you’d like to meet. Depending on the number of applicants, we can not guarantee that you’ll be able to meet the reviewer you have chosen.
