Podcast: Exploring climate change and space trough earth observation, remote sensing and artistic thinking

“Exploring Climate Change Through Artistic Thinking” – This podcast theme will delve into the intersection of digital and ecological topics, specifically focusing on how artistic thinking and lens-based art can be used to study and understand climate change. Topics covered may include the use of satellite data and citizen science in artistic research, as well as the role of contemporary art and lens based medias in raising awareness about environmental issues.

Our quest is Miha Tursic, facilitator, designer/artist and thinker from Waag Society, who’s expertise on space related thematics opens up Moret than Planet projects activities and ideas behind it.  In this podcast we concentrate Intersection of digital and ecological topics, specifically focusing on the north and Photo Norths activities in boreal forest, deep underground and near space. Use of artistic perspectives alongside with research and technology are in core of when we try to understand and address climate change related concerns. Podcast was recorded as part of Deep Lab 2023.
