“Is the Earth Chronically Ill?” is Elina Bry’s first long film. This deeply personal debut explores the connections between the climate crisis and nature in three significant places for Bry: Scotland, Finland and France.
In this constantly developing project, Bry draws parallels to Earth’s ”chronic disease” – climate change- and their own experiences living with chronic illness. The film captures reflective moments in these landscapes, examining resilience, change and fragility.

The screening is being held on 26th of May at Nättepori Auditorium in Ii (Puistotie 1, Ii), starting at 17.30. The event is free of charge.
